ABOUT THE CURRAN TALENT GROUP

Recruiting Led by Experience, Not Hype

The Curran Talent Group was founded on a simple belief:
recruiting is a leadership function, not a transaction.

After more than two decades leading recruiting, talent development, and workforce strategy—both in the U.S. Navy and in complex civilian organizations—I saw firsthand where traditional recruiting breaks down. Too often, speed replaces quality, volume replaces judgment, and people are treated like numbers.

We built The Curran Talent Group to do it differently.

Recruiting Led by Experience

The Curran Talent Group was built on a simple belief: recruiting is a leadership responsibility, not a transaction.

After more than 20 years of experience across military and civilian recruiting environments, we’ve seen what happens when speed replaces judgment and volume replaces quality. Our approach is structured, disciplined, and focused on long-term success for both employers and candidates.

Our Background in Talent Acquisition

With 20 years of service in the U.S. Navy—including 16 years in recruiting and talent development—our foundation is built on mission focus, accountability, and operational execution.

That leadership experience carried into civilian Talent Acquisition and HRIS leadership roles, supporting:

  • Skilled trades recruiting

  • Corporate and professional hiring

  • Leadership and management roles

  • Workforce planning and recruiting process optimization

This blend of military discipline and corporate recruiting expertise defines how we operate.

Our Recruiting Philosophy

We believe effective recruiting must be:

  • Transparent — honest expectations for employers and candidates

  • Structured — repeatable processes that deliver results

  • Accountable — ownership from first conversation to placement

  • Long-Term Focused — alignment over quick fills

Every search, conversation, and placement is approached with intention.
